To whom it may concern:

Per Ostman was a Principal Architect with Microsoft Services Australia from 2006 to 2022, primarily as a Program Architect in the Asia region, and before that as a Solutions Architect at Microsoft's Solution Development Centre (SDC) in Sydney. He had a strong focus on Financial Services and Federal Government.

As Program Architect, Per lead large and complex programs across Asia from an architectural and technical perspective. On these programs he was the Trusted Advisor for the executives, the lead of teams of consultants and architects, and the program's Design Authority. Architectural Governance and Leadership were key in these deliveries.

As Solutions Architect he was the Architect and Technical Lead for critical customer projects in the SDC. These projects were delivered using agile methodologies and later using DevOps disciplines.

Per has also been engaged in the capacity as Enterprise Architect and internally has been a thought leader in several disciplines, in particular as being part of forming the role and training for Program Architects worldwide for Microsoft. Per has been a board member and mentor for the global IASA's CITA-Professional certification and he holds the highest certification CITA-Distinguished himself.

I have worked with Per for a long time and found him a skilled, dedicated, customer centric Architect who has built solutions for customers of the highest quality. His attention to detail, his knowledge of different methods of designing and delivering solutions, his ability to build teams, build respectful relationships and drive to common goals are of the highest calibre. He has worked successfully within public sector and enterprise commercial customers, and I would have no hesitation recommending him.
